Syrah';s reputation over the past couple of decades has suffered from the world's over-exposure to hyper-fruity executions with not much to offer by the way of complexity. This wine something like an antidote...of the antidote was also an electric guitar turned up to 11.

There's a molassess-like lushness to the sides of the mid-palate that round the transition into a grippy, tannic foundation.
